How is TV advertising different from Print/Outdoor advertising?
With print and outdoor advertising, the advertiser is less in control of the consumer’s time. This affects the duration or time spent with ad (not 30 seconds as with a TVC) & the timing or order in which information is processed.

Print ads are not static
It is important not to think of print ads as static simply because they don't have temporal dimensions like TV commercials. Although a print ad doesn't move, the print ad must move the consumer's mind through the ad to create an effective advertising experience.
The Ameritest Print Advantage
Ameritest uses a customised Print Pre-Test Ad Model to analyse print as a dynamic medium. We are able to present our clients with detailed analysis describing how their ads are performing; why their ads are performing the way they are, and where an ad can be optimised.

Symmetrical vs Asymmetrical Design
|
Symmetrical Design
Centered layouts communicate loyalty, trust and quality. They give the impression of stability, permanence and restfulness, but can appear static, restrained or boring |
Asymmetrical Design
Off-center layouts create visual interest Can give the impression of rebellion and rule-breaking Allow for more dynamic use of white space |
