Martin James, Chairman
Martin James has always been at the forefront of applying advanced statistical
and computational technologies to the solution of marketing problems.
He has more than 25 years experience in the market research industry in South
Africa, Australia and Europe. He was MD of Millward Brown in Australia and the
UK and MD of Taylor Nelson Sofres in Australia.
Martin has also had strong interests in teaching market
research. He has lectured at the University of Cape Town, the University
of Technology (Sydney) and the Graduate School of Management. He was
appointed as Adjunct Professor in Research and Design by the University of
Canberra.
Stephen Prendergast, Managing Director, Prescience Celsius
Stephen Prendergast applies mathematical and statistical models to improve
decision making processes.
He has worked in a variety of fields: customer service
and loyalty studies; advertising response; brand health tracking and time
series analysis; customer segmentation; data mining; and demand estimation
models including choice modelling, conjoint and simulated test markets.
Stephen has degrees in applied science and marketing
and he is a Fellow of the Australian Marketing Institute, a member of the
Australian Market and Social Research Society and a Qualified Practising
Market Researcher (QPMR).
Linda Sutton,
Marketing and Communications Director
Linda Sutton is experienced in systems management and internal and
external strategic communication. She has worked in the market research,
arts and computer software markets for more than ten years. She is the
coordinating agent between Celsius Research and its partners.
Chris Papadimitriou, Account Director
Chris has over 7 years experience in quantitative research. Previously working with
AC Nielsen, he has an extensive online research background. Chris has experience over
a variety of industries including FMCG, automotive, communications, entertainment,
technology and manufacturing. Furthermore, Chris also has experience in qualitative
research. Chris has a Marketing & Population Studies Degree from Macquarie University
and has completed post graduate Market Research studies.
Matthew Tung-Yep, Research Manager
Matthew has more than five years’ experience in quantitative market research. Starting at AC Nielsen, he has worked with clients in a wide variety of industries including, amongst others, FMCG, liquor, automotive, media, tobacco and finance. He has managed projects utilising both telephone and online methodologies, with the scope of research varying from domestic to international. Matthew has a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Sydney.
